Nowadays, Constraints Programming is a major tool for decision makers. This paradigm is based on the following concept : a model is defined by logical relations (constraints) on several variables. A solution to a problem presented in such a way is to give values to the variables so that all the constraints are respected.

CHOCO is a Java library proposing a toolset to modelize and solve constraints problems. The objectives of CHOCO are triples : offering a teaching support, being an active base for research and being robust enough for industrial applications. CHOCO is user centered, with an open-source code and concept personalized easily.

The colloquium will be held in three major phases :
- Constraint Programming in general, and CHOCO in particular (1h),
- Users feedback on actual projects based on CHOCO (40min),
- Tutorial session about Constraint Programming and CHOCO (bring your machines) (80min and +).
