Call for paper concerning the "Systems and Security" topic of the 10th Libre Software Meeting (Nantes, France, july 2009)

The Libre Software Meeting (LSM) / Rencontres Mondiales du Logiciel Libre (RMLL) is a yearly event on FLOSS happening in July in France since 2000. The 2009 (10th) edition will be held in Nantes (France) from the 7th to the 11th of July.

Among the numerous tracks of its programme, we would like to foster attention on the “Systems and Security” track.

Subtopics :

We would like to see this year talks about free software used in the following areas :

  • clustering and fault tolerant architectures,
  • deployment infrastructures,
  • identity (authentication, privileges,accounting) management,
  • web application firewalling,
  • network firewall,
  • secured internet services architecture (DNS, mail, webservices, PKI …)

Important : we are open for creative and focused papers proposals even outside the previous subtopics !

Talks organization :

  • Languages : French ou English
  • duration : each talk will have a 30 minutes slot, questions included. On an exceptional basis, a talk may be authorized to use two consecutive slots to reach a 1 hour duration.

Your answer :

  • An abstract of your talk has to be sent containing table of contents and a detailed description of the talk.
  • Deadline for talk submission : First of March, 2009.
  • We really would like to have your talk presentation on a PDF support just after your talk to put it on line on the LSM website.
